Roxy May 9--awesome show, great feedback and energy from the crowds and the band, it was a special one. Met Slash.
Wiltern June--amazing lighting, just wonderful. Met Scott.
I'm sure if I lived in L.A. I'd get to see them on all the other events as well.

This was show number 6 for me. I started at the Roxy (invite only) 5/9/04. Then I was at the State Theater in Detroit 5/20/04, The Electric Factory 5/28/04 in Philadelphia, the Fantasy Island Show at the Borgata Casino 6/26/04, then to the Starland Ballroom 7/29/04 and just saw the guys 11/10/04 at the Spectrum in Philadelphia. My next show will be in L.A. at the Shrine Auditorium 12/1/04 for the VH1 Big In '04 show, then quickly back East for Clausfest IV 12/3/04 and then the big show New Year's Eve at The Joint in Las Vegas. Having the guys as friends has its benefits. They will replace The Rolling Stones as the greatest rock-n-roll band of all time. By the way all the guys say hi and thank you all for your support!

I was in college when they came to Boston late May. I came home a day later. Then they went to where my college was, when I was home. (It's a long drive...)  :x Now, had they been to NYC when I was there, and Boston when I got there, I could have seen them those two times, possibly.

So I saw them only once. November 9. Best day ever

Saw them twice.

Voodoo Fest in New Orleans, Louisiana Oct. 17.  Great show, loved it.

Little Rock, Arkansas Oct. 31.  What can I say?  Duff in a dress?  Scott as Axl? It was priceless...so glad I was there to see it first hand.

    • My band....Unforgiven!...check us out
I saw them for the first time last week at the Wachovia Spectrum in Philadelphia (came from NJ to see them) and I have to say the only word I could think to describe the show that night was.... Majestic.  They have to be the best live band I've ever seen.  The only band I could say that came close to them was the The Who.  The energy they had on stage was simply amazing.  I knew they were going to be great, but even then they exceeded my expectations. Scott was everything I thought he was going to be and better.  The way he moves on stage is unparalleled and the rest of band has just as much energy.  Everyone moves around and interacts with the audience and thatís what I love in a live band.  Slash's guitar playing was just spectacular :slash:  and Dave was really showing off in a lot of the songs.  Duff was just awesome; I remember he was throwing his picks that he keeps on the mic stand into the audience.  Matt was improvising drum fills in a lot of the songs, which was so cool.  I was lucky enough to get the 18th row right on the side and the Wachovia Spectrum isn't that large, which was even better.  My seat was right next to the stairs, so about halfway through the show I walked right down to the first row!  People actually started to mosh on the ground level, which was crazy to see.  :headbanger:  The songs were great. I sang ever lyric to every song that they played (which was probably why my voice was pretty messed up the next day lol). They started off with Sucker Train Blues.  The intro started off, and then as soon as it picked up the lights started blinking and it was just an amazing site to see.  They did Crackerman and Sex Type Thing, which I got really excited about.  As soon as Scott picked up that megaphone and said, "Here I come, I come, I come..." I knew what was coming.  They did Mr. Brownstone and It's so easy from GíNíR, which was very cool to hear.  They also extended Set Me Free. That was an amazing version of that song.  Their last song was Slither, and they couldnít have picked a better one to end with.  Everyone was singing along with it.  I left the show with a t-shirt, a poster, and a thong for my girlfriend, heehee, oh and the awesome memories of course.  If any members of the band read this, I just want to say thank you for the most amazing show Iíve ever seen in my life (and the sexy merchandizing ).

No bullshit at all, I'm for reals...actually you can add the Jimmy Kimmell Show as a possibility.  Living in LA and being die-hard helps!  All together, I've seen Slash perform about 25 times (VR, GNR, Bluesball, Snakepit I & II and Les Paul Tribute...).

I don't 'know' the band, but they're starting to recognize me :-)  I do chat with Adam Day whenever I see him....
