I still think "Powerage" is their best album.

That was the album that introduced me to the band. Definately a good one.

Sharon Osbourne came out as saying AC/DC are her favourite band and wants them on Ozzfest next year.

^^ Like AC/DC would play Ozzfest, they can sell out more than Ozzfest on their own unsupported.

Ozzfest is the top grossing heavy music festival after only about Wacken Open Air, so don't knock it.  ;)

Shit, I thought it was a tiny festival with Ozzy and a few other bands.  :P We've never had it in the UK (that I know of) for ages.

I don't know what to expect from this cd, another Ballbreaker would be great, that was a killer album. Stiff Upper Lip was also good, Meltdown, Stiff Upper Lip, Satellite Blues, Can't Stand Still, Hold Me Down etc. are all gREATsongs, but I thought it had a lot of filler (never got into Safe In NYC).

Ozzfest was 2 shows only this year to give them a bit of a break as it's been this full, touring festival since 1996. Last year's lineup was as follows:

Ozzy Osbourne
Lamb of God
Static X
Lordi
Hatebreed
Behemoth
DevilDriver
Nile
Ankla
The Showdown
3 Inches of Blood
Daath
In This Moment
Chthonic
Black Tide

Fewer than normal because the festival was free last year so there wasn't too much money floating around.

AC/DC would be a humble addition and a worthy tour combo IMO.

^^ Big line-up, I see what you mean now, but I think they'll stick to headlining shows as it's more flexible for them, and I can't see Angus, Brian etc. caring for that kind of lineup, even though that's a killer show.

If they did though I'd go see that, any chance Zakk would play with Black Label Society on Ozzfest?

BLS played from 2000-2002, then 2004-2006...it's hit and miss. It's entirely possible. Moving on...

In happier news, Paul Cashmere confirmed that "AC/DC will film the video for `Runaway Train`, the first single from the `Black Ice` album this Friday in London." There had been a lot of speculation as to the exact title of the new song but, hopefully, this will clear up the truth as Mr. Cashmere is not wrong very often.

So Runaway Train is definitly the new single.  ;)
